Farm-fresh eggs, hand-gathered in the Kootenays.

Our family of six raises organic and free-range hens beneath the Skimmerhorn Mountains — straight from our farm to your table.

Since 2017

A family farm built from the ground up in the heart of the Kootenays.

Pro-Cert Certified

Both our organic and free-range eggs carry Pro-Cert certification.

3rd Generation Farmers

Raised on poultry and grain farms — farming is in our roots.

Hand-Gathered Daily

Every egg is personally gathered and packed by our family.

Our Eggs

Two ways to enjoy Sunshine Valley eggs.

Whether you like them sunnyside up, poached, hardboiled, devilled, or over easy — our eggs are fresh, local, and packed with care.

Free-Range Eggs

Our hens have daily access to pasture where they scratch in the dirt and hunt for bugs in the grass and alfalfa. Inside the barn, there's enough perching for every bird to roost for the night.

Organic Eggs

Our organic eggs are also free-range — what makes them organic is the high-quality organic feed our hens receive. Pro-Cert certified to support your lifestyle.

Farm to Your Table

We hand-gather eggs daily from the coop and deliver fresh to cafes and food markets across the Kootenays — from Nelson to Kaslo, Creston, and throughout the region.

Our Story

As 3rd generation farmers.

Angela and Patrick were both raised on poultry and grain farms in southeastern Manitoba. They have many memories of playing with day-old chicks, spreading straw, and helping with the harvests.

Today, their days start with a walkthrough of the barn to wake the ladies up. They water, feed, and check air quality to ensure it's optimal for the day. Most eggs are laid by noon, and by afternoon the family heads out to gather them — often three kids and one parent, chatting about the day or singing.
